Mom Survives Guillain-Barre Syndrome
Guillain-Barre Syndrome is not well-known nor understood or it would not be labeled a syndrome. A syndrome is simply put as a cluster of symptoms with a label with no known cure. What doctors do know is that it is caused by the immune system attacking the nerves. A 31 year old mom of 3, going through a very difficult divorce began to lose her hand coordination and balance. She was hospitalized and confused the doctors since they could not pinpoint a diagnosis. She was referred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and they gave her the bad news that she had Guillain-Barre Syndrome and there is no cure. It is progressive and she was beginning to lose her eyesight. They sent her home to Iowa to a hospital there. There was nothing to lose with trying Emotion Code. After the first session her eye sight became more clear. After the second session, she seemed to be using her hands better. By the third session doctors were saying that her symptoms seemed to be reversing. After session five she was dismissed from the hospital leaving everyone confused why her symptoms reversed and went back to work. She has remarried and recently gave birth to a son who was welcomed home by three older sisters.
